Taken from the park under Brooklyn Bridge looking back over to Manhattan, I know this has been done to death but I wanted wanted one for myself, so took the subway to the park on the Brooklyn side of the bridge to get the classic view of Manhattan, there where lots of people there doing exactly the same thing as me, a few where serious togs with tripods but most were snappers using compacts and the flash… doh!
The photo second below was in Times Square at Easter 2010 (or Spring Break as the Americans call it) it was quite difficult to get a shot without people getting in the way.
